HLH-107 is a patented corrosion and scorch inhibitor (Patent No: ZL 201110203220.0) specifically designed for lubricating oil furfural refining units. It addresses the dual challenges of corrosion and coking, offering a comprehensive solution to extend equipment lifespan and improve operational efficiency. This product neutralizes furoic acid, prevents furfural oxidation, and reduces furfural condensation reactions, thereby mitigating corrosion and coking issues that are common in the industry.

    Product Features

    • Comprehensive Corrosion Protection: Forms a dense protective film on metal surfaces, effectively reducing Fe²⁺ levels in recovery tower drainage to ≤1mg/L.
    • Furoic Acid Neutralization: Forms a complex with furoic acid, disrupting its azeotropic behavior with furfural, which reduces the acid value of circulating furfural.
    • Coking Suppression: Slows down furfural condensation reactions, minimizing coking tendencies and maintaining system cleanliness.
    • Oxidation Inhibition: Alleviates the oxidation of furfural by dissolved oxygen and air, preserving furfural quality and system integrity.

    Applications

    Specifically designed for lubricating oil furfural refining units to inhibit furfural oxidation, reduce corrosion, and slow down coking tendencies.

    Usage Instructions

    1.Pump BXH-107 into a storage tank. It can be used as a pure solution or diluted with deoxygenated water.
    2.Inject the solution at the feed pump of the furfural recovery dehydration tower and the inlet of the furfural water layer tank.
    3.Standard dosage: 20–30ppm (based on raw material oil).
    4.Control the pH of recovery tower drainage to 5.5–6.5.
    5.During the first 2–3 weeks of operation, double the dosage to form a robust protective film on equipment surfaces.

    Packaging, Storage, and Safety

    • Packaging: Packed in 200L plastic barrels, net weight 200kg per barrel.
    • Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and ventilated area at room temperature. Ensure the container is sealed. Shelf life: 1 year.
