HLN-127 Neutralizing Corrosion Inhibitor for Atmospheric and Vacuum Distillation Units
Product Features
- pH Control: Maintains the pH of condensed water within 5.5 to 6.0, balancing acid corrosion and under-scale corrosion caused by NH4Cl and FeS.
- Efficient Performance: Reduces agent consumption by over 20% compared to similar products, achieving a corrosion inhibition rate of ≥90%.
- Anti-Emulsification: Minimizes the tendency of condensed water to form emulsions, lowering oil content and COD in the water phase.
- Environmentally Safe: Free of metals and harmful elements, ensuring no adverse effects on downstream processing units or wastewater treatment systems.

Applications
- Corrosion Control: Protects against HCl-H2S-H2O corrosion in overhead condensing cooling systems of atmospheric and vacuum distillation units.
- Scale Mitigation: Prevents ammonium chloride (NH4Cl) and iron sulfide (FeS) scaling, avoiding secondary corrosion and ensuring equipment longevity.
Usage Instructions
1. **Preparation:** Pump the product into a corrosion inhibitor storage tank and dilute with demineralized or deoxygenated water to the required concentration.
2. **Injection Points:** Use a metering pump to inject the inhibitor before the water injection point on the evaporation line at the top of the distillation column, ideally close to the dew point.
3. **Dosage:** Adjust injection rates to maintain the pH of condensate between 5.5 and 8.0. Typical dosage: 10-40ppm (relative to crude oil). Initial doses may be increased to establish adsorption equilibrium.
4. **Custom Adjustment:** Modify injection rates based on crude oil properties (organic chlorine and sulfur content), condensate chloride ion levels, and corrosion monitoring data.
Performance Guarantee
- Maintains iron ion concentration in condensed water at critical points (e.g., primary distillation tower, atmospheric tower, and vacuum tower tops) is ≤3mg/L.
- Does not cause emulsification or affect oil-water separation, device stability, or product quality.
- No adverse effects on downstream processing units or wastewater treatment systems.
- Recommended Dosage: Based on crude oil properties, the following table provides guidance on neutralizer injection rates.
